Fun in the pool starts with safety! Join the Village of Orland Park's award winning Centennial Park Aquatic Center (CPAC) as a Learn to Swim Instructor in the 2024 Learn to Swim program. 

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and outgoing individuals who have a genuine excitement for cultivating educational and fun summer memories for our youngest swimmers.  

Learn-to Swim instructors provide swimming lessons to groups and individuals ages 2 and up, within the Centennial Park Aquatic Center (CPAC) program guidelines.  The main objective is to provide professional instruction and a safe, fun and educational environment for all students. 

You must be:

• at least (16) years of age by June 1, 2024.
• able to effectively teach swimming skills/strokes in a 30-minute individual or 45-minute group session
• able to assess pre-lesson and post-lesson progress according to the swim level objectives provided
• able to effectively communicate progress and feedback to students and their parents or guardians.

All LTS Instructor candidates must complete Learn-to-Swim training sessions hosted by the Village of Orland Park Recreation & Parks Department.

$14.25/hour to $15.25/hour, DOQ, experience
