    The Village of Orland Park has immediate openings for part-time bus driver(s) for our After School Pals Program.  

    Key Responsibilities

    These positions will be responsible for safely transporting program participants including children and individuals with special needs.  Transportation responsibilities include picking up participants from local Orland Park schools and transporting them to our programming facilities.


    This position will work approximately 10-12 hours per week, depending on programming.  Must be available Monday through Friday from 1:00PM - 3:30PM.

    Additional work hours available for candidates with additional availabiltiy to work Tues, Wed, Fri Evenings 5:00PM – 9:00PM and Saturday/Sunday to support a variety of Special Recreation Programs to transport special recreation participants to programs, and transporting participants from our facilities to events/programs throughout the Chicagoland area.


    Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

    Must be 21 years of age, be licensed for at least one year and have a clean driving record.  We require an Illinois Class “C” CDL with passenger bus (P) endorsement; must pass background check, US DOT physical examination, and required drug & alcohol testing. Experienced drivers are preferred, but we will train qualified applicants.
