The Village of Orland Park is a sprawling, vibrant community offering a vast array of comfort amenities to our residents. Our Recreation Camp team consists of talented, fun-loving, experienced individuals who have a passion for creating a delightful, educational environment which allows enrollees in any number of our inclusive programs to not only participate in a multitude of activities but also stoke and encourage their creativity.

As a Daycamp Counselor you will plan and implement lesson plans and activities, and provide assistance to the Program Coordinators for various camps: Buddies (1st & 2nd grade), Voyagers (3rd & 4th grade), Adventurers (5th- 7th grade), and Pals After Camp (1st through 7th grade). In this position, you will strives to provide the campers with a fun environment that is positive, supervised, and safe while providing campers the opportunity to practice and develop appropriate social skills, and learn to make responsible choices. Will supervise campers daily, during scheduled weekly swimming activities, and during field trips generally scheduled every Friday.
College coursework in elementary education or related field is required. Previous experience working with children is preferred. Orientation begins end of May. Camp begins June 11 and runs for 8 weeks through August 3.
Various shifts are available. 5-Day: Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm OR 3-Day: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
