Our Recreation Camp team consists of talented, fun-loving, experienced individuals who have a passion for creating a delightful, educational environment which allows enrollees in any number of our inclusive programs to not only participate in a multitude of activities but also stoke and encourage their creativity.
We seek an Assistant Site Director to assist the day camp program coordinator with the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of program activities including special events to meet program needs of our summer day camp. This position will also assist in the day-to-day supervision of the camp staff and participants and will motivate staff and encourage creative idea sharing that focuses on continual improvement of programming.
High school diploma is required. An associate or bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred. A minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in recreation/education field. A minimum of 1 year of related supervisory experience is preferred. Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and passion for working with school age children is required. A valid driver's license is required. CPR/AED/FA certifications are required.
This position must be available to work Monday through Friday throughout the summer programming season June through mid-August. Weekly planning hours starting May 1, 2018 are also necessary.
